The idea is well known and appreciated by the international research community, but it conflicts with the local legal regulations of many institutions, which are often required to derive income from their image resources. A legal agreement had to be developed and accepted by all international partners. Every subtle divergence of particular image copyrights and terms of use had to be analyzed and discussed.
